I started the website because I felt the tools we used to provide support for my son could benefit others. Because I have almost 30 years of supporting my son diagnosed with autism, individuals reach out to me for advice. I realized that Navigating Thru Autism would be a resource book, but also a theme – for everyone to know that we are going thru, and to never sit idle to any diagnosis! Because our family engulfs the “helps ministry”, I realized my husband and daughter’s aspect of how autism affected them – needed to be a resource, from a parent/spouse and siblings perspective. Their chapters are vital to so many! I aim to alleviate the  sadness in this Pandemic through the song I wrote entitled, “More Precious”, and link the song to different sources.

I plan to do all of this through a community of individuals. ministers and professionals, who have endured hardship and disappointment – and have them share  their experiences or knowledge on this website. (monthly) They are people who are aware of autism and will always address that community before stating any other navigating. I am processing book orders myself now and I will process each order from the website. I have books on Amazon now, but not sure if that will continue. I plan to make the book available to libraries once the site is up. (This is a self published book) The song link will be  available to several social music entities and radio stations.
