MOTOWN LEGEND – THE CONTOURS SONGWRITER /COMPOSER A Wonderful Son, Husband, Dad and Grandfather! He has left a legacy of music that we all carry in our hearts! Years ago, my Dad gave me 2 cassette tapes. He placed them in my hand and told me, “this is everything that I’ve written and performed!” I knew he wanted me to do something with the songs, I just wasn’t sure what at the time. During the beginning of the Pandemic, I was drawn to one of the songs he wrote. Several times he interacted always wanting to do gospel but those he performed with were not agreeable. In fact, our family rehearsed in preparation to record a live worship cd. I must say Dad was the most faithful to rehearsals and wanted to carry out the vision my brother Eric had for us. So, lyrics came to me, based off the song he co-wrote, Your Love Grows More Precious Everyday –  recorded by the group he sung with THE CONTOURS. This song is a message in this Pandemic which gives honor to the Lord. It’s also a tribute to my Dad  This is the gospel song he’s always wanted to do, and the way I think he would have liked to present it to the world. My nephew Larry has put all the trimmings on this project and we hope this will be a blessing to all who hears it.
